        I would say minimal in my opinion. There was a time when it worked, but that was a time before spam. But at the same time I would say it also depends too. If you have a link that is on a social platform that is never used or shared, I think the benefit is next to nothing. But on the other hand if you have a recipe on pinterest that is shared, pinned, and used frequently, I think that is different. Google looks for what they call "social signals". I am of the opinion that a link really is not a signal, the usage of the link is the signal.
